Over 430 people participated in the Greater Accra NASPA "Save A Life" Health Screening Exercise held in Ada

LIVES SAVED IN ADA

The Human Blood is one of the priceless and most precious thing in the world. It is said that Blood is Life.

There have been several instances where people die as a result of loss of blood or the lack of it. Blood donation is a very important exercise as it helps save a life of someone who might be in need of blood.

Greater Accra National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) put it right foot forward in Ada and its environs. This exercise was done to help enrich the blood banks in these areas as well as provide avenues for people to have a check up on their health.

The Health Screening included; Hepatitis B, Blood Pressure, HIV testing, Breast Screening and Body Mass Index(BMI) check.

This exercise was on the 12th of July 2018 at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Sege. Hospitals that participated were; Sege Health Centre, Ada East District Hospital and Tema General Hospital.

The program was a successful one as hundreds of people trooped in to examine their health and Save a life. Most people were very grateful for the opportunity and
also felt the relevance of NASPA in our society.

Over 430 people participated in the activity.
