The National Service Personnel Association of Ghana congratulates the President of the Republic of Ghana

The National Service Personnel Association of Ghana congratulates the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo, for his Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) initiative launch today.
The National President of the Association, Allen Obeng Asare (Mr), in a released and signed statement on Tuesday congratulated the President of the Republic for his commitment towards the reduction of graduate unemployment in the country on the occasion of the launch of Nation Builders Corps programme.
“The National Service Personnel Association of Ghana (NASPA) on the occasion of the launch of the Nation Builders Corps programme adds its voice in congratulations to H. E. Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo for his commitment to reduce the spate of unemployment in the country”, the statement noted.
The statement added; “NASPA is thus happy and welcomes the introduction of the Nation Builders Corps programme, which would in the first year engage the services of one hundred thousand (100,000) Ghanaian unemployed youth”.
The statement however encouraged the Ghanaian youth to embrace the programme and seize the opportunity to ‘meaningfully contribute’ towards the development of the country.
“NASPA admonishes the youth of Ghana to take advantage of this programme and meaningfully contribute their quota towards the development of Ghana”, the statement urges.
The Nations Builders Corps was announced as a government initiative in the 2018 budget to provide 100,000 jobs to graduates at a cost of GHc 600 million.
The target of the programme is to improve public service delivery in health, education, agriculture, sanitation and also drive revenue mobilization and collection.
