GREATER ACCRA NASPA : i-Start Entrepreneurship Challenge On Wheels

The vision to venture, was launched yesterday 7th June, 2018 at the Conference Room of the National Service Headquarters in Accra.

This initiative which was brought to the table by the Greater Accra NASPA executives is set to sail after the launch.

Explaining its concept, the canker eating the Youth in this nation in the recent past has been Unemployment issues. The government with its proactiveness has introduced the Nation Builders' Corps and the introduction of new modules in the Youth Employment Program. The leadership of the Greater Accra NASPA still thought it through to have the i-start introduced, thereby playing their part in reducing Unemployment.

The guest speaker for the launch, Mr. Franklin Owusu Karikari (Head of Business Development - National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan) said in his address about the collaboration between  NASPA Greater Accra and NEIP to be a fruitful one. He pledged the support of NEIP in this initiative and as such NEIP was going to provide the training programs for all applicants and also make arrangements for the seed money for the winners.

He spoke about the importance of Entrepreneurship among the Youth and the reason why they should dare to venture

HANDS OUT PROJECT : THE ADENTAN AND SHAI OSU-DOKU STORY In other to quench their thirst of giving back to the community in which they serve, Adentan Municipal chapter of National Service Personnel Association better known as NASPA lead by its President, Robert Atsu Okor; who was heavily armoured by the Adentan Municipal Director of NSS and Adentan Municipal Education Directorate Circuit Supervisor today donated mathematical sets to some selected schools in the Municipality. The schools included ICODHES 3 JHS, Victory Islamic JHS, Peace Academy JHS, St. Francis JHS, Sraha AdMA JHS, Belko Islamic JHS and Knowledge and Faith JHS. The donation which began at 8am and ended half pass 12 witnessed same rhythm of jubilation amongst the ready but somehow tensed candidates.
